FOCUS-Q will represent the Cambodian and broader Southeast Asian communities within local, state, and federal government forums.
The organisation will act as a voice for Cambodian-Australians in Queensland, ensuring their welfare, inclusion, and cultural identity are recognised and supported through public policy and social initiatives.
Apex Community Body
FOCUS-Q will operate as the umbrella organisation representing Cambodian community associations across Queensland.
Its purpose is to promote and strengthen the cultural, educational, social, welfare, and economic advancement of its member organisations and individuals through collaboration, leadership, and empowerment..
Community Welfare and Solidarity Projects
FOCUS-Q will coordinate key welfare and humanitarian projects for both Australia and Cambodia when needed, including disaster relief, poverty reduction, youth empowerment, and wellbeing programs.
The organisation will mobilise the Cambodian diaspora in Queensland to contribute their skills, time, and resources in partnership with Australian agencies and Cambodian coordinators.
